About the project
Timeleft matches strangers for weekly dinner parties at local restaurants. Users sign up, get matched with a group of 5, and discover the restaurant the day of the event — creating spontaneous, meaningful connections over food.
The Challenge
Meeting new people in cities is hard. Traditional dating and networking apps feel transactional, and there was no platform focused on group social dining experiences.
The Solution
We built the mobile experience with FlutterFlow and Firebase, implementing a matching algorithm that groups users by interests and location. Cloud Functions handle automated match notifications and restaurant coordination, with Stripe for seamless payments. We built the MVP for the first year of Timeleft.
Results
Rapidly growing user base with high repeat attendance. Users consistently rate the experience as their favorite way to meet new people in their city.
