About the project
Chef AI is a culinary app that transforms meal discovery. Using AI, users can upload a photo of any dish to get recipes, suggestions, and nutritional info instantly.
The Challenge
Many recipe apps are generic, lacking personalized recommendations based on individual dietary needs, ingredient availability, or changing preferences. Users need a tool that understands their unique situation and provides tailored meal suggestions.
The Solution
We built a FlutterFlow app with an OpenAI-powered recipe engine that adapts to each user's profile. Firebase handles auth, user data, and saved recipes. The AI generates contextual recipes based on image / link or text description.
Results
Consistent user engagement with high retention rates. Users report saving hours per week on meal planning and discovering new recipes daily. We have a growing user base and a lot of positive feedback.
